Tried to scan using the MP Navigator 3.0 but when it didn't see the new device I thought I would try the Fotolader (which is apparently the Dutch name for Image Capture). I configured the printer on USB first and after test printing configured it for WiFi Using the Canon IJ Network Tool which worked fine too. I just purchased a 2nd hand MP600R for 10 Euros (predecessor of the MP640R) as my old one died and with all the stories going around I was concerned that it would not work as I had upgraded my MBP from Yosemite (under which the old MP600R worked fine) to Sierra 10.12.2.
